Re Firewire 6th June Post
I have succesfully installed the firewire as per your instructions, and am now asking for your help with further instructions on how to transfer films from my Canon MV830 Camcorder. I have spent all afternoon and evening trying to make sense of How to do it, so please if you have a spare hour I would really very much appreciate a little help, in simple instructions please. Many thanks in advance.

Rojash, I have succesfully followed your instructions, and have edited my tape, but, when I tried to playback the film, a message appeared which said, "This application failed to start because MSVP90.II was not found,Re-installing the application may fix this problem". Once again this has me tied up in knots, please advise.
"but, when I tried to playback the film"
What format did you render your movie into?
Just to be clear - after editing the movie and saving the project file, you need to use "Save As" to render the movie into a standard format (such as AVI, etc) that can be played back in (say) WMP, GOM, VLC, etc.
What application were you using to playback the movie?
