Windows 7 setting up e mail
A non computer knowledgeable person has just bought a laptop Toshiba PC from PC World.
They have just signed up with Orange and want to know how to start off with e mail and the internet.
I presume it is running Windows 7 (which I have never used, I am still on XP).
How do I set up an e mail account on the PC? Will they need to know any passwords?
Also will Firefox be on the machine already? Or will it be a different browser?
Any help would be appreciated!

So the first thing to do will be to download and install a suitable program. Microsoft's own product is Windows Live Mail 2011:
