MSN Messenger for Macs

I have heard rumours that microsoft are goin to stop MSN Messenger for macs! Is this true? if so, why?

Microsoft (spawn of the devil) did the same with Internet Explorer and stopped at version 5.2, which was no bad thing.

I use AdiumX - just started last week, after I got fed up of the constant kick-off on MSN Messenger, the non-updating of contact lists, slow messages, and lack of features (Display pictures, for example). So, I Googled and came up with AdiumX, you can use skins (I have a brilliant Tiger one, to match my new OS, the contact list literally 'floats' on your Desktop, and can even be set to fade after a period of time. It's a great App. with all the extras you need, however it still doesn't do webcam. If you need webcam support I advise you use Mercury, although this is not a friendly program, unlike AdiumX that intergrates smashingly with the new Tiger (Which b.t.w is also amazing!) Hope I helped in a round-about way! :-)
