I would like to remove IE8 because of problems and reload, but I cannot clear it. Whats the secret? (windows 7) I even tried to upgrade to IE9 but it fails to load.
Better still is to install Firefox. Download it for free and have a better browser that is used by the Computer experts on this site. I'm no expert but I do take notice of what I read in this Technology section.
You then make Firefox your default browser and forget about IE. but leave it as a back-up if possibly needed.
Hopefully others will also comment in this column to confirm what I have said.
Thanks boxtops and vivandorron I have already downloaded Firefox but it still puzzles why I have this problem with IE8 just incase it's screwing up my computer in someway.
Go to add/remove
Select Internet Explorer .. and click through to repair?
This may not be possible but have a look ... I never looked at this on W7.
Find correct version x86/x64 and download and over-install .. It may clean up old version.
