Using wi-fi

I'm trying to connect my phone to my home network but I forgot the security code, tried to find it via network and sharing centre and then wireless properties, get to properties page ok and then security but the "Show characters" box is grayed out, is there anyway of getting this info without re-setting the router, cheers in ant; dougie.

Yep, log onto the routers admin pages and look at the wireless security setup page and you'll be able to see it there.

And if you're about to ask how to do that please say what the make and model of the router is.
