My BT home phone has number withheld how to cancel please

My kids won't answer the phone because it shows my number withheld. How do I permanently disable this on my BT phone. Anybody know please. Looking on the BT site is like looking for a needle in a haystack!

My dad has to ring this before he calls my landline as I have "anonymous caller reject" on my phone that doesn't allow witheld numbers. My dad's phone is set to automatically withold his number so the only way he can phone me is by showing his phone number by dialing 1470 before my number.

If all the calls you are making show "number withheld", I don't think this is something you can alter from the phone itself - you need to contact BT customer services (good luck with that). Perhaps you have opted-in to the free Privacy at Home package which DOES withhold your number.
I'm not with BT, so this is from memory.

Don't think it does - my son has the package and his number shows up on my phone, and he's not savvy enough to disable it call by call
And I <think> i have it too and I've never called a number that says it doesn't take witheld calls
Probably there as an option
