HP Photosmart C6280 all in one.
Every time I turn the printer on or off, I get a message to that effect on the PC screen. I know it might not sound terribly important but its very annoying and its driving me up the wall !
I can't even see the point of having message in the first place. Does anyone know of a way of disabling this function please ? I presume its the same with most HP printers.
Thanks

If you wish this, you may be better getting a power-saver socket which is linked to PC .. When PC is shutdown, all attached peripherals are crow-barred off too.
Next time you start PC, all those outlets will be energised again.
Do not connect chargers required to these outlets.

I have an HP C6280 with my iMac system and I shall probably get rid of it at the first opportunity. Why?
I don't like the amount of private detail it unnecessarily seems to absorb into its system.
The scanner doesn't work.
The updates are few and far between and poorly advised.
The back up service is the worst I have ever met with computer equipment … and that's saying something.
So I'm off to do some research to find a replacement, Mikey4444, and I suggest you do the same.
