Acer netbook ?

Webcam.

Any good, I have been offered this second hand for £110, I have a desk top, just need a back up ?

It's more likely that your desk top will become your back-up.Sorry cannot advise on whether £110 is a good buy for the Acer.

i have an acer netbook, its brilliant!
Bought it from new, but wish mine had of been that cheap tamaris.

It's a pretty good price. You do realise that Windows 7 Starter is quite restricted - e.g. you won't (easily) be able to change your profile settings, etc.

Also, being a netbook, it won't have an optical drive so you might need one of these: http://www.amazon.co....CGCBW/ref=oss_product

Not fussed about changing profile settings, and I do not understand optical drive, I am into technology at all , so long as it works.

An optical drive is a CD drive or a DVD drive - I don't know how else to explain it...
