I'm sure this is a silly question but why are there suddenly some AB threads on my FB page?

very droll CF and mcf - to answer the first reply, no I don't have AB as a FB friend.
that's me out then
Maybe Facebook thought you'd like to see some things we'd posted. Maybe one of your friends is a friend with us, and liked something we posted or liked?

Facebook moves in mysterious ways.

well I wish FB would bally well stop thinking for me and remember it's there to suit me, not the other way around.
Question Author
sorry ED - thank you for the reply
"well I wish FB would bally well stop thinking for me and remember it's there to suit me, not the other way around."

I agree. It's like someone you think knows you quite well buying you the wrong drink every time they go to the bar...
It's not there to suit you. It's free...it's there to suit the owners and advertisers.
... and whilst the esteemed and revered Ab Editor is here - did you get my message about 'the group'?
Is this the correct AB FB page?

No, I didn't Dave. Try again.
im still waiting :-(
"and remember it's there to suit me, not the other way around."
Where on earth did you get that idea?
"I wish FB would bally well stop thinking for me and remember it's there to suit me" you obviously haven't realised that (as a FB user) you are "the product". The customers being all the advertisers/app makers.
FB will do as it pleases and you and I and all the other users are effectively expendible puppets.
you could of course replace FB with AB in the last few posts...
D97, that is the correct AB page on FB. I don't know why rsvp said it isn't.
Question Author
rojash I look upon FB as something I choose to use in a very limited way as it enables me to keep in touch with family abroad on a day to day basis. As ummmmm quite rightly pointed out, it's free as the advertisers want people on the site and, having given it some thought, I agree with ummmm that from their (the advertisers) pov it's there to suit them and not me but I play the game by glancing at the ads. I was just curious as to how and why certain threads from AB appeared on my FB page. Threads which I hadn't even subscribed to.
