virgin problem!

Hi guys,my virgin security keeps flashing a box up to say restart vigin up oterwise I am not protected, any ideas.

I am with Virgin and their security program caused me nothing but problems, so I uninstalled it and went with MSE. You can't have both running at the same time though.

Maybe you need to reinstall it, it sounds like the program may have been corrupted somehow.

If you're referring to Virgin PC Guard, then it's worse than useless! Remove it and install something else, e.g. MSE, AVG, Avast etc. Anything really!

markrae, hows the best way to remove it and which free one would you choose.

As I understand it, you should simply be able to uninstall it through the Control Panel like any other application.
