My daughter laptop has developed a problem,the control pad sticks when you try to move the cursor,it is ok using the wireless mouse,but she prefers the control pad. can anyone help to sort this out.

Either the laptop is bogged down with resources running background stuff or tasks .. or ..
it has something spilt on it .. It's possible to clean the pad (but it's not like a simple cleaning job)
Most likely the former.

Do check for driver updates at HP though. You need more than 'G6'!
