I like to use fancy stationery when writing e.mails but can anyone tell me how I set the margins when I choose a design that, say, runs down the left hand side of the paper. I have tried every which way, it seems to be o.k. then when I start the next line it is back right over the pattern again. I am sure it will only be something simple (but then so am I! lol) but I just can't figure it out.TIA rosy

I shouldn't waste your time. It is unlikely that the majority of recipients will not see a fancy design, and those that are accessing via phones will not appreciate intricate emails.

I know what you mean hc, but I only use it occasionally to people I know who like it, (and who can see it of course) I never use it to anyone who I think would access via phone. I just want to know how to do it! rosy
Apologies, then, rosy. Sorry I can't help.
OE is not good at stationery formatting ..
I don't think you can write around a background design.
Some info here .. but I think you already know it ..

Thank you for replying albags. Yes I think you are right about OE but there are some good points on the link you posted so I can have a mess around. Thanks again rosy
NP .. Al.
Personally I would use the Word Processor that comes with your system and then you can despatch it from there.
rosy, fancy stationery really is a pain (as is those little monkeys hanging about all over the place). They take up a lot of room on the recipient's email - I have a friend who uses is all the time and I keep asking her not to. It's a nightmare with IE.
