Printer and computer not working together

I have an Acer laptop with Windows Vista and an HP Photosmart 2575 all in one printer but several times recently i am unable to print documents from the computer as they go to One Note Document File and I have no idea what or why. That is down as my default printer again but it never was originally and I have no idea why I keep getting it.Student neighbour sorted it a couple of times but is away for the vac.Have tried to reset 2575 but the one note stuff is still underneath the printer bar and there seems no way to erase it. Please has anyone a suggestion? Thanks.

Goto the printers in control panel, right click on the printer and select set as default.

If you don't ever use it you can safely delete the one note printer by right clicking on it and selecting delete.

Thanks chuck. I have done that, but in the print panel it stil comes up twice underneath the bar for printer which does have my right printer as default - partly becaues I don't seem able to delete the One Note even when I apparently have deleted it!! Guess this makes no sense - to me neither!
