I'm trying to access my car insurance quote but it goes to 'Media Player'? I have Adobe Reader & also have clicked on my insurance Adobe link but still comes up media player? Any help please.

Your post is not very clear.
Assuming that what you mean is that you have a pdf file with your insurance details, right-click it, choose "open with"
Select Choose program
Check the box "Always use..."
Click on Adobe reader
Click Ok

The only option i have is to click on the link, put in my quote ref then click on download it then brings up media player?
Run Adobe Reader
Click Edit/Preferences
In the section "General" Click the button at the bottom "Select Default PDF Handler"
Select Adobe Reader
Click Apply

Done that & now it's sent it to 'windows word' & is all gobbledigooch?

The only thing I'd suggest over what rojash has already said is either, uninstall adode reader and the download the latest version and install it again.... or the better option, uninstall adobe reader and then install foxit PDF reader, which is a far better PDF reader in my opinion.

Either way should sort the association for PDF files out though.
You don't actually what type of document you are trying to open. Are you sure it is .pdf?
