Magazines and web sights writing about opening web sights, which you do not know or have been reliably recommended should be researched. my question to you computer people is how does one do this research? I know it is a basic thing but I realy would like to know.

I honestly don't know but would suggest if many places come up with the same information then that is confidence building. That is unless they all attribute their information to the same source.

It still reads as a simple question to me. To put my question a differentway, is on being recommended a web sight how does one know that it safe to go toit. for instance if there is a web address given on this web sight in one of the answers how would one be able to find out wether it is ok to open. not that I am saying that this could or would happen. sorry for the confusion, but this was a genuine question. Sorry again danny
