Firefox problem

All working OK but suddenly a message with an attachment refuses to arrive at its destination. It has no images, no bad language or anything like that, simply business English.
I have tried copying the text and pasting it to the bottom of my message and sending - same result.

My correspondent and I exchange messages all the time.


What can be wrong?

Are you sure you mean Firefox? You use Firefox for browsing the web not for sending emails.

Is the attachment too big?

squarebear - it's not necessary to use an email client for email, it can all be done by going to the online site using a browser e.g. https://mail.google.com/mail

Gmail and Hotmail are excellent for home use, without the ponderous stuff that Outlook sticks on - great for business users.

True but not very professional looking. I would have more faith in a company with a proper domain name than a throwaway non-traceable hotmail acocunt.

squarebear, I use GMail to send and receive my isp emails (blueyonder).

Can you use gmail to send as though you are from a legit domain?

eg [email protected] instead of [email protected]

Sorry, it's Mozilla.The Attachment was 3 A4 pages (14pt font) and the text identical when added to an email.

Yes, Thunderbird. Sorry. Not v good on the technical stuff, no matter how elementary. And if you have seen my other query about a hesitant cursor, it happened here too.
