Wireless or not?

I have a Dell Dimension 3100 computer. The device manager tells me I have under Network Adapters:-- Intel [R] PRO/100 VE... Am I capable of going wireless with this installed? Many thanks in advance for your help.

That's the wired network adapter - for wireless you need to fit a wifi card or use a usb wifi dongle.
According to the manual (http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/SYSTEM
S/dim3100/en/om/DD137A03.pdf),
the machine doesn't have a wireless adapter, so no you couldn't. However, it has plenty of expansion slots where you could insert one, or just use a USB wi-fi dongle. Presumably, though, you want to do this because the machine cannot be connected to your router via Ethernet cable?
