I am using a website (weightwatchers) which is telling me I need to update my version of Adobe Flash Player - and when it's about 50% installed it tells me to close Internet Explorer .... which I do but the message telling me to close it still keeps poppong up and the installation freezes ............ HELP!!

Go to your Control Panel. (That's either directly from the 'Start' button or via 'Settings', depending upon which version of Windows you've got).
Then go to 'Add or Remove Programs' (in XP or earlier) or 'Programs and Features' (in Vista or 7).

From there, remove 'Adobe Flash Player Plug-in'.

Restart your computer.

Reinstall Flash from here:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Cross fingers!
And if it still won't install you could check the task manager for any processes running called iexplore.exe and end them if there is any...

Or just restart the computer and then try installing it again.
