KODAK PRINTER DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!
10 Answers
We bought a Kodak printer from pcworld. I thought Kodak would be a brand you could rely on, OH HOW WRONG CAN YOU BE!!!!
Since buying this printer I have had hours of trouble shooting trying to get the thing just to print a simple document.
NEVER try to update as every time I did this it would completely mess up and I would have to reinstall the thing.
The printing quality is hit and miss.
The printer will not print a black and white document if the colour the colour ink has run out.
I opened the thing today as it has now decided to destroy the paper when printing and discovered a lot of gunk in the mechanism.
I could go on but will not.
From the feed back I have received from people buy a Canon or Epsom, though the Epsom has some issues when installing.
Please do not make the same mistake as I have made.

I would never *** off a company if I thought it was a one off but I have spoken to lots of people with a disappointing response.

I also had a Kodak printer, highly priced I thought but much cheaper ink. After about 1 year it gradually deteriorated and had to ask for a new printer head. This lasted for a couple of months and went downhill after that. Eventually the print was undecipherable and in the end got blank printout pages. I was changing the ink cartrridges every week:gawd knows where the ink went to.
Every time you get a Kodak update it doesn't just send a patch but the whole 90Mb program which has to be reinstalled and wastes a lot of time.
Do not buy for a long term investment!
