Hi guys my internet explorer 7or 8 (how do I find out!) is very slow, its driving me up the wall,any ideas please.

I doubt it is your IE that is slow, it is more likely your broadband that is slow.

Why not try another browser, like Firefox, and see if it is just as slow.

If so it will prove if it is your browser or not.

Open Internet Explorer, click HELP, Click "about Internet Explorer" at the bottom and you will see which version you have.

Run an antivirus scan you may have a virus or some malware infection. Use Malwarebytes in Safe Mode to do your scan and also your antivrus scan. A virus will slow down your computer sometimes.

Crappy antivirus programs like AVG will also slow down your computer.
