Which site do I need ?
11 Answers
I have a genuine "Cheongsam" dress (I think that is how you spell it ) it was made for me in Hong Kong 55yrs ago, still in it's original wrapper. I don't know if this has any value what- so -ever, but it would be nice to get an opinion on it, could not find an "antique" site. Any suggestions anyone ? Many thanks in advance.

I'd take it to an auction house and ask them to value it for you - or look on eBay, see what they are selling for. This one here is £45.00 http://www.ebay.co.uk...g&hash=item4ab5fe4a69

Thank you all very much for your replies, its lovely to see my dress sparked so much interest. Info for "shoota" the side split is 9 inches, bear in mind that I was very young and the amazing details are, that when my penfriend Sailor asked for my measurements to enable him to have the dress made my Mother was absolutely furious that this young man had the audacity to ask for them, and I had to get permission from my older brothers (who had both been in the forces) and guessed why he was asking the question, to be able to send my vital stastistics. Happy Days !! Thank you all.
