Android Tablet
3 Answers
My son has given me an Android Tablet (unknown make) for my birthday. As he has three young children, I know it's not an expensive one - probably bought on Ebay. It's named "Tablet Palmtop". I couldn't bother with it at first because it seemed so slow and I had difficulty getting a wireless link to use it. Now I've persevered with the Android, I'm finding it ok and quite useful.
Sooo - no trouble yet, but I want to know how I can use the keyboard in the case rather than the Android 'touch screen' which I'm scared to get rid of in case I can't get it back again! I was originally using the case keyboard but I must have changed it somehow. Any advice please other than “get yourself an Apple or a Samsung”. Thanks.

Is the keyboard you want to use a separate entity then? I imagine you would need to plug it in and it will be automatic
"3.1 Keyboard
When you need to input text or number, the touch keyboard of the screen will automatically be shown.
Notice: the equipment supports external USB keyboard but some buttons will not work if it’s connected to an external USB keyboard."

Thanks ojread2 - the internet page you pointed out to me shows the booklet I've got, but on the net it's readable! My booklet is in such miniscule print it's ridiculous (smaller than that on a postage stamp) and it's a pain trying to read it.
My son told me he paid extra for the case and it's really nice, a black leather-look one with plug-in keyboard. The keyboard is really good (as good a a computer keyboard) and fast as opposed to the touch-screen version. Also the Android fits really neatly into the case.
I am now going to scroll thru the instruction booklet now that it's readable! Thanks again.
