Not exactly a "relationship" question...

Alright. Now that I've just about come to wraps with my other little problem... and seeing how much good advice I got there I thought I would lay out another thing that's been bothering me.
you're in for a pretty long story... and it's pretty stupid... but hey, this is what teens deal with.
So, I have this friend and as they say "we talk". We'll just call him... Benedict. Now, Benedict and I have been e-mailing for a few months and a youthgroup that we both attend and thus we actually talk quite a bit. And we e-mail. And every single time I talk to him I say something really, really dumb. Usually this is because I don't hear him right, or I misinterpret what he's saying. Now, last weekend we went with afore mentioned youthgroup on a three-day outing. During that outing I again said some pretty stupid things, and as a result I kinda tried to avoid him... well, not avoid him exactly but when he was in the room I talked about as much as a dead man. When I did talk I almost always ended up saying something stupid again. Now were back and he hasn't been e-mailing and I'm wondering if my not talking has offended him. I don't want to ask him because I don't want him to think that I'm super possessive of my friends (for multiple reasons). So my question is: what is a good way to ask him if I've annoyed him without sounding like a total looser (or like I have a major crush on him) and embarrassing myself again.
Yeah, I warned you that it was silly.

Dont know about previous threads so cant comment on those, but as for this question i would just drop him a casual email saying something along the lines of " Hiya, havent heard from you for a few days, what have you been up to? Anything interesting or just boring coursework( or whatever is appropriate) . Speak soon....."

Enna, it sounds like you and Benedict have had a good friendship up until now. Has it occurred to you that he might not be emailing because he thinks you don't like him? Especially if you weren't talking to him much over that weekend. Like Smow and Rowan say, just send him a message saying 'Hi, how are you?' - chances are, he'll be delighted to hear from you.
