Whats the best printer??
15 Answers
I currently have an Epson Stylus D92 printer, costing at the time of purchase £45, if I remember correctly. However this cheap printer is completely not on the cheap side after all since the ink for this printer sets you back at near £30, almost the same cost to buy a new printer. I have just placed new ink in the printer and after 53 pages, the ink needs replaced? (Printed only 3 pictures amidst black & white writing). I cannot afford the running of the printer. May I add the quality of the printer is not good.
What printers do all you guys have that you would recommend? Or avoid?

Darn it! I've just discovered that bestpriceink, where I normally get my Epson compatible cartridges, has ceased trading! :o(
That's a real shame because I'd get six full sets of cartridges (36 in total) for around 30 quid. They were Pro-jet cartridges which I always found to be very reliable and just as good as the more expensive Epson originals. Never mind, I have enough to be going on with for the time being.

If you are unhappy with the print quality, then it might be worth looking at some of the 'free printer' offers on this site - you buy several sets of cartridges & they throw in the printer free ...

I've used them in the past - they seem pretty straight - the printers tend to be 'last years model' but there's no problem with that if you read the reviews on amazon to check for any problems.
