Hi
I have a netbook computer and am looking to get some sort of photo editing software along the lines of Photoshop. Does anyone knows if this is compatable with Windows 7 Starter and is there a cheaper but comparable version (Photoshop is all I've heard of to be honest and don't know where to start looking for alternatives)? Also, do these software packages come on DC ROM as my netbook hasn't got a CD drive. How would I get around this?
Many thanks in advance
If you only need basic editing functions and some sort of cataloguing system, why not just download Google Picasa - it runs nice & quickly on netbooks (which may struggle with big applications like photoshop)
It may not run on a netbook, but IMO paintshop pro blows other editing software out of the water....costs 70 quid though but you van download a free trial at the corel website.
just to add that the pixlr one I linked to doesn't need downloading, you just work online.
This may be an issue - some of these programmes are pretty big and may contain hundreds of applications you don't need, which could constitute a waste of Netbook space.
