I couldn't log on to Virgin Media this morning
3 Answers
I couldn't log on to Virgin Media this morning, even though I have just fitted their Super Hub modem for wireless access.
They said on a recorded message on the phone that their system was temporarily down.
I managed to log on easily, however, by connecting my computer to the modem with a cable.

I recently had a new super hub fitted but accidentally(?) removed the wireless capability by inserting the wrong password. However, I was still able to reconnect the existing cable to the modem and continue using the Internet.
I would have thought that if you can reach the Internet via the existing cable then the wireless capability is still available at the Virgin source point but has become disconnected from the new hub in some way.
You should have been given a manual with the new hub which explains how to reconnect/set-up the wireless part of the hub to your computer.
It's straight forward and easy to follow. Mine was soon up and running wirelessly again.
Like I say, I could be wrong on this but at least it's something for you to try in the future!!!
