MSN Messenger 7.0
Hi,
Can anyone help me with a problem I am having with MSN Messenger 7.0. I downloaded the newest version, and everytime I sign in, after I have signed in, I get a message that say's :- Internet Explorer Script Error, Line: 374, Char: 2, Error: Library Not Registered, Code: 0. I E-Mailed MSN about this and they sent me an e-mail back, but they suggested so many problems that it could be, and to go through every one, I only did about 3 and got so fed up. Can anybody tell me if they have had the same problem and if so can give me a simple solution to resolve the problem.
Thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.my advice to you would be to remove msn7 from your computer. then goto microsoft's website and reinstall internet explorer:

then reinstall msn messenger:

Then I would hope that any problems would be solved.
If this is not the case, in internet explorer goto http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and install any of its recommended updates.
Thanks bruce5755 and fo3nix, both answers where really helpful, fo3nix, I downloaded the messenger you suggested, but it was the same one, and guess what, the same explorer scrip error keeps coming up, it doesn't actually affect MSN, but it's a pain when you have to click 3 or 4 times, the YES, to keep running scripts on the page, everytime you sign in. What had actually happened, my p.c. was really playing up so I had to restart it from factory setting, I downloaded all of the updates when the restart was done. As soon as I signed in to MSN, it prompted me to download the newest version, it said I couldn't sign in until I did so.
Anyway, thanks guys for your help, much appreciated, it will either just fix itself, or I'll just have to grin and bear it. Thanks again.
