deletion of E mails from my I touch.

I have recently managed to get the MAIL function working on my I touch but found that I have over 7000 E mails representing the period since I bought the machine.

I have recently synched the I touch with my APPLE computer and thought that this would replicate the computer position on E mails but this has not happened.
I realise that I can select EDIT then tick the E mail and then delete but with 7000 to delete this will take forever.

Can anyone help a frustrated pensioner by advising whether there is a way to delete all Emails on my I touch in one function.

According to me there is no way to delete all e-mails on I-touch but you will need to delete e-mail at individually.
