Printing Problem

1. Until recently my Dell Inspiron 1545 computer and Brother HL-3040CN printer communicated together perfectly. If I set the font at 10 or any other size I got the exact size of print that I requested.
2. Now, however, it will only print at 6 point, no matter what font I set or how I set it.
3. There is no problem if I wish to print a document that I have read on the Internet. That will print out at any size I request.
4.I have seen someone asking for help with the same problem he had with a Hewlett Packard computer and he got a solution.
5.I have phoned Dell UK but they require a fortune for their services.
6. If anyone has any ideas, i should be most grateful.

I re-installed Word 2007 from the disc supplied with the computer and my documents now print at the size I specify.
I am posting this in case somebody has to deal with the same problem.
