CHANGING ADDRESS ON DRIVING LICENCE

I need to change my address on my driving licence(Photocard one),will I have to send new photos?
Cannot do it online,my passport is not a British one.

.Looked on the link you sent,furrypusscat,but couldn`quite find anything about whether or not to send pics.

My son did his a while back and didn`t think he did,doesn`t one have to fill in the paper counterpart and send it with the photocard ???
What about the Registration Certificate...is it necessary to change that too?????

When changing your address you’ll need to:
•complete the ‘changes’ section on your paper counterpart, sign and date it
•send both parts of your driving licence ie photocard and counterpart document to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BN
you only need to send new photo if changing your name or gender

No,there is no charge,this I do know.It is only address change.What about Registration Certificate???

Vehicle registration certificate has to be changed as well , but there is no charge.

Hi kloofnek, 1st paragraph states 'A new licence will be issued free of charge unless your photograph’s due for renewal.' In other words do not need new photograph.

Right...better get things moving.
Such a hassle when moves...letting everyone know.
I used to go from country to country but have not moved for the last 20 years so this will be my last one....imagine doing this on a regular basis...I have a friend who moved ten times in twelve years...all within walking distance of each other !!!!!!
