Computer fails to remember log in details

I have Windows 7 and use IE9. For some reason my computer is failing to remember any log in details. For example when I use Barclays Bank, Facebook or Twitter. I tick the box asking them to be remembered each time I log in but it doesn’t seem to work. Any suggestions please? I don’t wish to change my browser if possible.

Have you got your browser set to clear cache and cookies or personal history on closing?

In IE9 check 'Internet Options/Content/Auto Complete' put ticks in Forms, User names and passwords on forms, Ask me before saving passwords.

It may be a cookie issue or it may simply

If you have cleared the history of the browser after doing tick mark on the remember login details option in the site then you can't able to retrieve login details automatically when you will try to login in the same site again hence for that you will have to once again tick mark on the remember login details option.
