Slow Typing In AB

Only happens on AB, keep getting Add-on failed to run message and typing anything takes an eternity. Any ideas?

Are you using Chrome. If so, look at your programmes and see if McAfee is there. If so remove it on uninstall......(assuming Windows) - It arrives on the back of Adobe and Chrome hates it - really slows up the system and, for some reason, AB.............I took it off with The Builders help and "voilà", problem solved.

No porblem Tonyav using IE9. No problem with anything else, just AB.It's like something is running in background when AB runs. Took me an age to type this!!!!

Give Google Chrome a try Novice, see if there is any improvement.

But make sure you don't have McAfee - if you are using it, install something like Microsoft Security Essentials....personally, I use Bullguard as that came with my pc.

Iget his prblem ll th time on AB ( which should read ' I get this problem all the time on AB' ) Bracketed section typed slowly by waiting between each letter. A right pain in the a**e.

using AVG, have done for years. All up to date. It is only on AB, everything else is fine.

IE9 has had issues - move to Chrome then - dead easy to do, very similar appearance on the toolbar - most of it is behind a small three line key on the upper right.....

Strangely I have tried Chrome, Firefox & IE & the problem persists with them all but ONLY when using AB. What I have t dnow is te noal thncorect veything befor clicking Subit ('' What I have to do now is type normaly then correct everything before clicking Submit '')
