Sounds like dangerous spam to me. Do not click on the link.

Just send yourself an email periodically if you want to keep a free email account alive. I use an Outlook Reminder to remind me in case I forget. Sometimes I need to send an email from multiple free accounts in order to test other pay accounts.

I find it amusing that I receive all sorts of spam on...

I keep getting them from yahoo. 'If you haven't logged in, your account will automatically be deleted inside 5 days'

Well, I didn't and logged in after a fortnight, account was still there.
can't say for certain but sounds dodgey to me - would never reply to anything like that.
Is it addressed to you? If No it's a phishing/virus
Who is it from? I can't imagine any organisation needing to do this anyway. Phishing/virus

I'll just ignore it. Isn't an account that I use much anyway.
They're looking for accounts that are definitely active so they can bombard them with spam. If you don't respond, they don't know it's active, so don't send stuff.
