HI - right - I don't get it. I saved up for ages with the Mail rewards club points to bag myself a free e-reader - I have received a lovely pandigital 7" ANDROID Mulitmedia Tablet and Colour eReader and it is fab... BUT I CAN'T WORK IT. I have wifi' and can connect to my online e-mails and facebook I have had no problem loading up a few tunes - so I don't imagine having a problem loading my whole library, and the photo veiwer is great. It comes with a 2 in 1 card slot and I have inserted my 16 gig memory card in... but that's it I cant get the book store ( except of Barnes and Noble) which says is American and will not operate out side of the states. I cant down load any apps because although is ANDROID the box states (not connected to android marketplace. Not all APK apps are compatible with or optimised for this device) so each time I try to down load anything I get a message saying error occured. All I want is to download an app for kobo or kindle and buy some books _ i would love to be able to do this by the weekend as I am going on Holiday - PLEASE HELLLLLP
Ok thanks guys I seem to get the message that I should use the e-reader in conjunction with my pc and pre-load books before travel, so rojash I will look at the link thank you and dennisb66 can you tell me is the site you use called "Gutenburgh to Calibre" or is that one site to another if so why please tell me what functions they have I have googled both names and seem to have downloaded "Calibre" must have click on something with out realising it - But I must be dim I don't really know what to do with it - I think I should find books on the site? download to my library on my pc ? and then using a usb cable transfer to my tablet ? but how will my tablet recongise the format ?
Gutenburg is a site from which you can download free books-anything that is out of copyright....meaning all the classics.
Calibre is a ebook software that helps you organise and save ebooks. With it you may be ables to download and install kobo and Kindle books.
