Pc Monitors With No Speaker

Is it possible to get a speaker attachment for a monitor which has no loud speaker. If so ,how do they work.

The sound comes from the PC. If you've got a sound card and the appropriate socket, there's no reason why not.

At the very least, your computer will have an audio out (head phones) socket where you can plug the audio plug for the speakers in. Mostly, the speakers also need a source of power, either through an extra dc adapter or from a USB port of the PC.
