I know I asked this question many months ago - but didn't find a solution then nor since and am hoping someone may see this who can help.
I will be using my (HP Pavillion) laptop (Windows 7) quite normally with a usual arrow head mouse pointer (except when it becomes a hand or carat as appropriate to its background). I'll close the lid of my laptop (putting it to sleep) and resume later by opening the lid again. But I'll frequently find the mouse pointer has changed to the "precision select" pointer of a magnifying glass requiring me to change it back in control panel.
Am I the only person who has this problem? Any idea what causes it? I'm not running any unusual software: usually just Chrome browser for emails and Open Office for writing.
Hi,I have a HP Pavillion laptop and never encountered this problem. But having said this,my desktop is also HP and I have found that my pointer changes on it`s own.
Hadn`t finished:
I like to have a big black pointer, easier to see,but it changes itself back to the usual white one...must be some little quirk HP has...most annoying isn`t is!!!!
