Norton (& Fao Boxtops)
5 Answers
Not a question but an update to say that after much research I decided to install Norton again to protect my laptop and internet security.
I have always used it but at a renewal price of £65, I decided to check out the free options too. Ed kindly ran a poll and I checked out all the others, but none of them seemed to be as comprehensive as I'd hoped for. Nor did their reviews reflect the reliability I would expect.
However I did not renew Norton. Instead I ran the uninstall which someone kindly posted and which I have reposted here for you Boxtops incase you want to do the same next time, and I bought Norton 360 at £25 as a new customer direct from their website.

The whole process took a few minutes and I've saved £40. Happy Days and thanks all for your advice.

My Norton is due around nov . I wait till currys or Argos have them on offer usually around £20. for the 2012 version. Then when I install it I get an e mail a few days later to update to 2013 version free of charge. Been doing this for a few years and never any problems like I had with free versions.
