New Shower Kit - Help!

I bought a new shower kit and tried fitting it earlier. The kit comprises the wall bracket with shower head holder, a shower hose and also a shower head i.e. everything you need.

Tried fitting it earlier but the shower head doesn't hold firmly within the bracket. The hose is slack within the hole so I assume the fitting at the base of the head should slot into the hole to provide the fit. It has tapering sides but doesn't fit the hole at all!

Am I being incredibly dense here?!

Please help.

Yes, it's the handle that is held, not the hose.
It wouldn't be the first time that they've included the wrong holder.
Are you sure you've got the bracket the right way up?
Ducks and runs for cover.
I think TB is losing his grip ... go and have a look at your shower. It's the collar on the hose that is gripped not the handle ..http://tinyurl.com/9wbphhs

As far as I am aware there are only two sizes of collar ... the Mira fitting and the Universal fitting.
The two are not interchangeable as they are different diameters.

Thanks all. I swapped it for another and all is well...finally!
Picky...picky... picky ............... Homer's right. That's what I meant. Sort of .

Yes, of course it's the collar. Bit out of touch really........ I usually fit only the ones that come out of the ceiling. Don't use hoses ...... ;o)
That's my excuse anyway. ;o)
As Graham says you prob had the shower head holder upside down.
