Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Not Charging

Have had my tab about 3 weeks, it's been charging ok. Last night i had a message come up telling me to plug in the charger which i did, after a few minutes it said it was fully charged, so i unplugged it and sure enough it very quickly went down to empty again. I then put it on charge for a couple of hours, once again it said fully charged, after about a minute it went down to 59%. Am i doing something wrong or has anybody else experienced a similar problem? Thanks in advance.

You using proper charger for your tab ....or making do with an old one ?

yes, using the one they supplied and its worked fine for the few times i've charged it.

Let it discharge completely so goes off...try again....

I'd take it back. Boy #2 got a Kindle fire for his birthday that flatly refused to charge and Curry's changed it without batting an eyelid.

It was fully discharged when I charged it. Will probably take it back, it came with a phone contract so I assume it'll still have a warranty.
