Running the free version of Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware will probably get rid of the problem:
http:// www.mal warebyt es.org/ product s/malwa rebytes _free/
(When installing, be sure to get rid of the tick that give you a trial period of the 'PRO' version).
If it doesn't work first time, re-boot into Safe Mode (by pressing F8 during the boot process) and try again.

There has been a form of malware, going around for years, which highlights random words (on any page you're viewing) to turn them into links to places you don't want to go to. Your descriptions sounds very much as if it's something similar.
I've had that problem myself, which is why I'm reasonably confident that Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware should be able to remove it.

Restart your computer, booting into Safe Mode (by pressing F8 during the boot process). Don't worry if your screen looks very odd; that's just because the video driver hasn't loaded. Run Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware again; it might pick something up in Safe Mode that was missed before. (To get out of Safe Mode simply restart your computer).
Also run a full scan with your anti-virus program and delete all cookies (except anything you know that you really need) and history from your browser.
