I have not a clue what I have done but I clicked on the import button thinking it would download from a cd I put into the drive and seems to have downloaded every single picture in my system, i.e. screen showing google, photos of people online, etc. all 1300 odd of them. I try to get them off by dragging to trash but nothing happens. How an earth can I get rid of them.? Silly me, anyone any ideas.? Thanks.

I can't quite understand what you have done. However, when it comes to dragging photographs to trash, it depends upon what operating system you are using.

It will take a long time but should work.....Right click on each photograph or folder which you wish to remove and then click on the menu 'Delete'.

Thanks Ashton, tried that one will not delete. I seem to have copied everything that is sitting in my computer files into iPhoto. There are photos of google, cookies screen, any website I have visited showing a photo, play online, shows photos of everyone I have played online with. Not a clue what happened and whether I will ever sort it out. Slowing everything up in iPhoto.

Thanks kjn will give it a go.
You certainly have a problem and, as my technical knowledge is very limited to Computers with Windows, I don't know what next to say.

KJN is pointing you in the right direction and a look at the following link could possibly be of some assistance to you.:-

Thanks all, think it is more to do with mountain lion on my iMac than anything else, only recently downloaded. I have asked on another question on here how to reinstall snow leopard from my original discs, so hopefully someone might be able to help.
