I posted this under Computers, which I don't think is correct, so I am repeating now under 'Technology'
I have had the above phone for about 2 months and twice I have received a message "internal phone storage space is nearly full. Delete/uninstall some applications or data and try again". I haven't downloaded anything myself, I haven't got any music stored on the phone. A lot of updates have recently happened. Could it be that all activity is stored on the phone as opposed to the sim card? I'm not very technical, so be kind to me please!
Thanks.
if you got the phone from a store take it to them and ask them to sort it, im sure they will and tell you how to do it too,
i installed an app called "advance mobile care " free it sorts it all out for you, and any off your apps should be installed on your memory card not the internal memory if they will go on to it, btw i got a 32 gb sd card off the web to fit mine as the 2gb card that comes with it is not large enough if you want pics and music on
Have you checked that things like photographs and videos are being stored onto the microSD card, rather than into the phone's internal memory? (Indeed, have you actually inserted a microSD card into the phone? It's not the same thing as the SIM).
Thank you everyone, it looks like I may need to buy a card then. I will also go back to the shop on Saturday, to see what they suggest, perhaps they can transfer the stuff over to a card. I'm very impressed with all you technophobes - how on earth do you know all this stuff? I don't like to experiment, in case it goes wrong! Thanks again.
