Connecting Wireless Printer To My Laptop??

I've just bought a Epson XP-305 printer and am having problems trying to install it. The printer cannot seem to pick up any wireless signal from my laptop. Is there some settings I should be changing or is my router knackered?? I'm getting frustrated with it and it's gonna get a size 9 through it in a minute!!

If it's anything like the one I installed for my partner they are a nightmare. Firstly they work through your Wi-Fi router so make sure you have the password for the router (some like BT are on a label on the router) then you have to follow the Epson set up instructions. Good luck!
