Email Password

Hi all....I have been having a problem with my email password this last week or two.

I have my password saved and normally just ask for messages and they are downloaded...this is Windows livemail by the way....

Recently I find that after 4 or 5 dowloads I get the message that I have given the wrong password.....and to reenter it...No joy..

Rebooting usually cures the problem temporarilly but obviously I am trying to figure out what is wrong.

I discovered today that in my email accounts server settings that the password which is normally eight digits changes to more than eight when the problem is on....changing it back to my eight digit password puts things right......I apply the settings and things are fine for a while then the extra digits appear and no emails.

Really my questionis how can my password settings change ?
