Pop Up Blocker

when i try to click to get on sites( say from my emails) it tells me that i have a pop up blocker, ive checked and its turned off, why has it suddenly started doing this and how can i alter it. many thanks

You might have more than one pop-up blocker in place. Which browser are you using, and which security software? Where did you check that the pop-up blocker was turned off?

Also, which email system are you using? (If you're using an email client, such as Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail, pop-ups shouldn't be involved at all. If you're using a web-based system, most email providers don't use pop-ups either; they simply open another tab or window to display the page that is linked to).

PS: While you're trying to sort it out, remember that you can still access links by right-clicking on them, selecting 'Copy link location' (or whatever other phrase your browser uses), opening a new tab, right-clicking in the address bar and selecting 'Paste & Go'.
