Mac Book Pro Connecting To Smart Tv

Hey, Please help! sorry to post this again, but i have a mac book pro, brought new in Dec 2010. I have a new Samsung smart TV. I have all the cabling correct to connect it, and it is connected. I managed to get the laptop screen on the TV yesterday.

The screen flashed blue on the laptop, so i know it works. I pressed CMD F2 and managed to get the laptop screen thrown on to the TV, however, when i went to do it again later and this morning, it wouldnt work. I am worried i have done something to the laptop, then prevents me from doing it again! GUTTED!

Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's not F2 you press, it's F7 to toggle between the screens.
