I sometimes wonder if I should take screenshots of my answers so that I can read them back to find the offending material!

some people type their answers in Word, then cut and paste them into AB - are you in trouble?

Well if Eccles offends there is no hope for me....:-( x
Eccles, let it slide, obviously the poster didn't want any negative feedback, in their opinion. There are quite a few like that on here.

That is an excellent tip Boxtops!

The only problem is I'm mostly using an iPad these days and I'm not fully accomplished in cut paste etc...

I'm not in trouble per se, I've had what I thought was an objective and considered answer removed and a bit of a rant in reply.

I honestly can't think what was so objectionable to have it removed and I wish I could review it and try to read it through another's eyes to understand.

saw that eccles, and tbh thought the op's on a wind up

I really wouldn't worry about it
agred on both counts Slooopy

(Wish I could stop typing Sloppy)
I wouldn't get het up too much about it, eccles, especially if it was on a desky thread where a third seem to disappear up the Ed's chimney, many unneccessarily so.

Phew! Thanks Sloopy......I was panicking that I'd started celebrating World Gin Day a bit soon and had lost the plot :-)
Well that thread took the bottle.........
lol albs

//agred on both counts Slooopy//

do you not mean typing sloppy? ;)
eager digits Sloopy :-)

DT, fraid to say it wasn't a desky thread.
Question Author
You do detect the slight essence of a circular argument that you find in a DT thread though :-(
true eccles, but this one seemed to have punctuation :-)
lol eccles.....which thread was it?

The most annoying part of a removal is that one has often 'invested' a few minutes of precious time only to see it cast aside with what can appear as contemptuous disdain at times.

From what I have seen, and a guess I admit, I would say that way over a third ought to stay - and then the other thing that seems to have been forgotten is the chance to remove an offending item/s and not the whole thread where several end up feeling frustrated and, sometimes, downright annoyed, having made contributions in good faith.
Yes, sensitive it seems and not thinking clearly......(not you Eccles)
I had read page 1 and thought - "not a hard decision" so didn't go onto page 2!
I just read the thread alba put a link to. All i can say from what is still there, is the problem clearly wasn't you, eccles.
I answered almost theexact ? A week agoi am sure, I told her to get a job in the corner shop to save all the hassle lol
