I have some photos on my Ipad Retina but want to delete now but don't know how. I have watched a video and tried to do it but it doesn't work. Anybody know how?
// The dustbin symbol only appears when the photo has been taken by that ipad. // Er, I have the first generation iPad, which doesn't have a camera. All my photos were taken on my camera and are deleteable, on the iPad and in iTunes.
Did you take the actual photos with the ipad? If so just go to photos and click edit. Then select and delete.
If you took them with a camera and transferred them to the iPad it is not possible to delete them. You need to delete on your computer and then sync with ipad.
Double tap to open the photo.
In the top right had corner there is a dustbin symbol.
Tap that and it asks you to confirm that you want the photo deleting. Delete it.
No they were taken from PC. I have plugged Ipad into Pc and deleted photos off the PC but not gone off Ipad so I must have done something wrong. I am a novice at this and it is driving me mad. They are my grandaughters photos of a pop concert and are not very good. I have tried your way Gromit but a dustbin doesn,t appear when I double click. Not really sure what I am doing.
