Power Shut Off While Installing Gta V

So the other day I picked up my boyfriend preordered special edition of GTA V. We put the first disc in and started installing, while installing the power throughout my whole city shut off. Once the power came back on we tried to start the installation over and it gave us an alert saying it was corrupted because it did not finish installation and said it had to reinstall the first bit. Well we waited a second and then it continued from where it had left off we were confused, but figured it had just reinstalled the first bit really fast. We put in disc 2 and started playing everything running fine then the game started itself over giving us the alert it was corrupted and we needed to fix it. We tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and that didn't work also of that when we uninstalled it, it got rid of his preordered special edition dlcs which I'm guessing might be an easy fix we just have to find it on is xbox and download again right?

I did see somewhere that some XBoxes have to have extra memory in them to play GTA V.

I think the 4Gb boxes are the problem.

Yes we put in the codes. He has elite xbox 360 hardrive, but he also plays a lot of games so you think the problem might be not enough memory?
