Issue With Hdmi Cable From Pc To Tv.
4 Answers
Please bear with me while I try to explain this :0/
If I download something on to my pc and then on to a memory stick I can watch it on my tv and it will be picture and sound perfect.
Number one son suggested connecting to pc to the tv via a hdmi cable which I have done. Now the sound is perfect but the picture seems to, for want of a better word... judder. Its not jumping all over the place and the afore mentioned son said something about 'frame rates' but neither he nor I can find anything about it or a way to fix it.
Its still watchable but ....
Any ideas?

You need to try to match the refresh rate of your PC's video card with that of the TV. It's not always possible but, if you tell us the make and model of TV and which video card your PC is using (or, at least, the make & model of PC if you don't know about the video card) somebody here might be able to assist you.

Ahhhh it would seem you have sparked something in number one sons brain... congratulations, that's not easy to do lol.
I'm working on the pc right now but he is muttering something about hertz and VLC refresh rates :0/ He'll have a play with it tomorrow when I'm not working.
Thanks again Chris

Don't know if this helps but I had my TV ( Panasonic ) linked to PC ( Dell ) with a VGA cable, Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation which worked a treat.
